Share Capital Deposit in France from Qatar: What Is the Procedure?
Entrepreneurs and investors residing in Qatar, including French and international expatriates, may set up a French company and deposit its share capital with a French notary.
The service may be used for an SAS, SASU, SARL or EURL and for individual or corporate shareholders.
A Qatari corporate shareholder must provide documents identifying the company, its representatives and ultimate beneficial owners. Translation or additional documentary formalities may be required.
Funds may be transferred from a Qatari bank account after prior review of the file and originating account. Source-of-funds evidence may be requested.
The depositary’s certificate can be issued within 24 business hours after receipt of the funds when the file is complete.
After registration, the funds are released to the French company’s bank account.
