Share Capital Deposit in France from the United Arab Emirates: What Is the Procedure?
Entrepreneurs, shareholders and investors residing in the United Arab Emirates, including UAE nationals, French expatriates and other international residents, may set up a company in France and deposit its share capital with a French notary.
The service may be used for an SAS, SASU, SARL or EURL, with individual or corporate shareholders.
Where a UAE company subscribes for shares, documents identifying the company, its representatives and ultimate beneficial owners must be provided. Depending on the documents, translation or other formalities may be required.
Funds held with a UAE bank may be transferred after the file and originating account have been reviewed. Source-of-funds documentation may also be requested.
When the file is complete, the depositary’s certificate can be issued within 24 business hours after receipt of the funds.
After registration, the funds are released to the French company’s bank account.
