Share Capital Deposit in France from Turkey: What Is the Procedure?
Entrepreneurs, shareholders and investors based in Turkey can set up a company in France and deposit its share capital with a French notary.
The notarial deposit can be completed before the French company’s definitive business bank account has been opened. The file is reviewed in advance to verify the structure of the transaction, the subscribers and the documents required to receive the funds.
The service may concern the formation of a SAS, SASU, SARL or EURL. Shareholders may be individuals residing in Turkey or Turkish companies, subject to review of their corporate documents, representatives and ultimate beneficial owners.
Supporting documents concerning the source of funds and the originating account may be requested as part of the checks applicable to international transactions.
Before any transfer from Turkey to France, the office reviews the file and the proposed transfer arrangements. Payment instructions are provided after approval in order to avoid funds being sent from an account or under arrangements that do not correspond to the file reviewed.
After receipt of the capital, the notary issues the certificate of deposit of funds required for registration. Where the file is complete, the certificate can be issued within 24 business hours after receipt of the funds.
After registration and receipt of the required supporting documents, the capital is released and transferred to the bank account opened in the company’s name.
