Entrepreneurs and investors residing in Bahrain, whether nationals or expatriates, may set up a company in France and deposit its share capital with a French notary.
The service may be used for an SAS, SASU, SARL or EURL and for individual or corporate shareholders.
Where a Bahraini company subscribes, documents identifying the company, its representatives and ultimate beneficial owners are reviewed before any transfer.
As Bahrain is a regional financial centre, funds may be held with local banks. A transfer to France must nevertheless be reviewed in advance, including the originating account and, where necessary, source of funds.
The depositary’s certificate can be issued within 24 business hours after receipt of the funds when the file is complete.
After registration, the funds are released to the French company.
